Upon uniting with this Christian community, we respond to the question: “As a member of this congregation, will you faithfully participate in its ministries by your prayers, your presence, your gifts, and your service?”
Each time an individual unites with our congregation, we reaffirm that commitment. All of these–prayers, presence, gifts, and service–involve giving of ourselves and our resources.
God calls each of us to share in the ministry of giving.

Electronic Payments
(Ach Payments)
Aside from In Person & Online Banking payments, ACH Payments are the lowest cost donations you can make. The cost to the Church is just 26 cents per transaction. The Church will bear the cost. 100% of your donation will be applied to your giving statement. Your banking information is not stored by the Church, but by a 3rd party (IATS) with excellent security, so rest assured your data is safe.

PayPal
Use any Credit Card without setting up a Paypal account or login to your own Paypal account. Please be aware that Paypal deducts approximately 3% of your donation as a service fee. 100% of your donation will be applied to your giving statement, the Church will bear the service fee. Online Banking
All you have to do is log into your on-line account, then set up Santa Clarita UMC as a Payee. There is NO fee for this service.

Recurring Donations
Using either method you can setup recurring transactions. In order to setup a recurring transaction with Paypal you must have an account. With either method you can also designate how you want your giving applied (General Fund, Missions, Debt Reduction, etc). With Paypal, you can designate your giving on the screen after you click on “Review Donation and Continue”. The next screen has a “+” sign you can click on to open up a text box to type in your designation. With Online Banking, there is usually a memo line you can type in your designation.
