Fall Events for Children’s Ministries

 

Trunk or Treat—Sunday, October 28, 5:30-6:30 pm. All children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and come to trick-or-treat from decorated cars. There will be lots of candy, great music and lots of decorated cars. This is a safe and fun place for the kids to celebrate Halloween. Pajama Party and Dessert Potluck Night—Friday, November 17 from 6:30-8 pm. This will be a fun event for the whole family. Holiday Celebration—December 8th, 5:00 -7:00 pm. Bring the children to learn the real meaning of Christmas and have a lot of fun. Snack, crafts and the Christmas story! Worship Schedule

8:00 a.m. –Lectionary based Bible Study in Small World Office

9:00 & 11:00 a.m. - Worship Service

10:00 a.m. – Donuts, coffee & punch are available for a donation on the patio.

9:30 & 11 a.m. – Korean Language Worship Service, Youth Building

Overflow Service, 6 p.m. - A contemporary service one Sunday a month, featuring music and a different speaker each month.

Nursery & Sunday School

Nursery care is available for all children ages birth through age 2 during both worship services in Room 2 all year.

9:00 Sunday School
Pre-school age children go directly to their classroom while Elementary age children start with an opening worship service in Fellowship Hall.
Children can be picked up in their classrooms after worship:
Classrooms:
ages 3 through pre-k : rooms 5 and/or 6
Kindergarten and 1st grade : room 7
2nd and 3rd grades : room 3
4th, 5th, and 6th grades : FoundersHall

11:00 Sunday School is a one room Sunday School setting. Children begin by attending with their parents in the sanctuary. After a children's moment with the pastor, they are dismissed to Fellowship Hall where they have a short worship service of their own.
