Merry Friends is a group for seniors to participate in fun social activities. Anyone classifying themselves as a “senior” is more than welcome to participate in our activities. The activities are aimed at creating a supportive atmosphere for seniors to share positive time and friendships together. We meet the third Thursday of the month for our monthly activities. The fourth Sunday of the month we meet at the Greenhouse Café at 10:30 AM following the 9:00 AM service for brunch. We enjoy our time of eating and visiting together. Activities planned so far for this year are:
September 19—Visit to Harold Hicks home to view his collection of military, including Civil War, uniforms and memorabilia.
October 17—Visit to Hart Mansion and lunch at El Trocadero.
November 21—Movie in the Jr. High room.
December 19—Lunch (location available closer to the date).
